Java Server Pages for Web Application Development
Course details
- Understand the component tree, event-driven programming in a web environment, input validation, and page navigation
- Create model objects
- Utilize GUI components in JSP pages
- Utilize declarative page navigation
- Manage JavaBeans via JSF's configuration files
- Use standard validators and converters, as well as extend the standard ones for custom use
- Internationalization/localization support in JSF
- Write shorter JSP pages and eliminate the use of scriptlets/expressions
Prerequisites
Prior Java programming experience or completion of the "Intermediate Java Programming" class.
Prior JSP experience, specifically familiarity with custom tag construction, or completion of the "JavaServer Pages for Web Application Development" class.
