Mary Lynn McNeely is an experienced business analyst and systems analyst, project manager, and business and technical instructor as well as course developer. With over 18 years working in the IT industry, Mary Lynn has been a part of developing BA methodologies in large corporations. She has real first hand experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, change control processes, and managing requirements for IT and business. She has developed Change Control Methodologies and templates for use in small to large projects. In addition she has practical experience in projects using SDF (Software Development Framework) and Agile methodologies such as XP (Xtreme Programming).
Mary Lynn also authored training manuals, developed technical and user training for an IT organization as well as developed and delivered workshops in project management skills and methodologies. During the early phases of Business Analysis methodology development, she had the honor of training with Karl Wieger (author of Software Requirements) both as a student and as a future instructor for business analysis and writing requirements.
On the personal side, for 7 years, Mary Lynn partnered with her husband to open and operate a successful bicycle specialty store and during that time she developed software applications for payroll and inventory. At the same time, she bred, raised and trained German Shepherd dogs.
