Rick Murphy is founder and principal of vLogic, Inc. - a Denver-based wireless network integration and consultancy firm with almost a decade of experience planning, designing and installing point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless networks in the Western US. Rick is also CTO for vTown WiFi, a firm that designs and implements WiFi Hotspots and virtual communities. When a strong technical expert can also teach, you have the makings for the perfect instructor. Rick has both. In 1997, he began teaching wireless and satellite classes. He has developed 12 courses on topics such as satellite telephony, wireless security, mobile IP, cellular broadband, and wireless troubleshooting. He is currently developing the“Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)” course for Planet 3 Wireless. Rick holds the CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional), the MCNE (Master Certified Novell Engineer), and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certifications. He has designed and presented hundreds of courses for Fortune 1000 companies across the US. He is respected as an expert in the field of BWA (Broadband Wireless Access).
