David Kim, B.S.E.E. is the president of Security Evolutions, Inc., located outside the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area in Vienna, VA. Security Evolutions, Inc. specializes in IT security courseware development, IT security training, and IT security consulting. Mr. Kim's IT and security experience encompasses over 20 years of technical engineering and management experience in the IT field. This experience includes LAN/WAN, internetworking, enterprise network management, broadband technologies, and IT security. Currently, Mr. Kim provides IT security consulting services specializing in vulnerability assessments, IT security audits, enterprise vulnerability management, and developing IT security strategic plans for large commercial, government, and higher-education clients throughout the world.

Prior to founding Security Evolutions, Inc., Mr. Kim was the Chief Operating Officer of (ISC)2 Institute, the training and content development arm of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium known as (ISC)2. Mr. Kim was responsible for content and product development for (ISC)2 Institute's CISSP® and SSCP® certification credentials which includes training course development, online e-Learning courseware, books, and other products concentric to both certifications. Currently, Mr. Kim provides curriculum, courseware, and product development consulting for (ISC)2 Institute.
