ASPE Technology Training Information: Assessing IT Infrastructure Vulnerabilites

Michael Gregg is the president of Superior Solutions, Inc., a Houston-based IT security consulting and training firm. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT field. Prior to founding Superior Solutions, Inc., Michael was a Senior Computer Security Manager. He is an expert on security, networking, and Internet technologies. He holds two associate's degrees, a bachelor's degree, and a master's degree. He presently maintains the following certifications: CISSP®, NSA IAM, MCSE, MCT, CTT+, A+, N+, Security+, CNA, CCNA, CIW Security Analyst, CEH, CEI, Dell DCNP, CHFI, CIFI, SCNP, CCE, and TICSA.

Mr. Gregg's primary responsibilities focus on performing security assessments and evaluations for corporate and government entities. Some of the organizations he has consulted for include: Nortel, Motorola, Adaptec, Lucent, Fidelity, Kaiser Medical, SBC, USAF, FBI, NSA, and Alaska Communications System. Michael was pleased to have assisted Foundstone in the training of NSA employees last year.

He is a member of the Independent Computer Consulting Association and the Texas Association for Educational Technology, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for SearchNetworking. He is also a member of the American Council of Forensics Examiners.
