This two-day interactive workshop provides the necessary risk analysis and risk assessment skills, practical real-world references, tools, techniques and guidelines for you to immediately conduct an internal enterprise vulnerability assessment. Through “real-world” case studies, you get the hands-on practice necessary to ensure you can repeat this proven assessment methodology and process. This class gives you the skills to:

  • Drive your own internal and periodic vulnerability assessment process to ensure the integrity of your IT infrastructure's security.
  • Align your internal vulnerability assessment process to meet Cyber laws and government mandates like HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Conduct quantitative risk assessment calculations
  • Review foundational risk assessment methodologies such as ISO17799, OSSTMM and NIST.
  • Conduct a structured top down security assessment in class using real-world data
  • Elicit the necessary functional system requirements to properly define assessment parameters
  • Use risk analysis to develop measured protection that implements security without slowing down operations
  • Learn how to use and modify vulnerability assessment templates
  • Identify weaknesses and/or vulnerabilities in your IT infrastructure
