COURSE 030 | 2-DAY SESSION Building and Managing a Local Area Network (LAN) Course Details Our Building and Managing your LAN course provides entry-level computer and network technicians and operators the skills and knowledge they need to successfully deploy and manage Local Area Networks. In this course, you will learn the details of Ethernet and the network cabling types used in today’s LAN deployments. You will detail the function and capabilities of Network Operating Systems, to fully utilize their capabilities. Connecting LANs to WANs will be detailed so technical professionals will understand how to connect bridges, switches and routers for cross LAN communications. Finally students will learn the fundamentals of managing and troubleshoot the LAN environment. |
